About Caves

Welcome to Caves Bier & Kitchen—a new concept for Corvallis inspired by European style beer taverns.

Inspired by community bier taverns and dining pubs of Europe, Caves Bier & Kitchen brings Corvallis a unique and varied beer selection alongside farm fresh meals. Come on in and grab a pint and a snack, or enjoy a fine bottled selection with a full meal. Caves is perched above Block 15’s expansive cellars—where barrel-matured beer patiently ages—alongside its own cellars, where bottled beer from around the world awaits your glass.

Bier

Our beer menu is hand-picked by Beer Curator Anne Hull. On tap you will find a fine selection of twenty beers brewed from around our block to around the world. Our bottle list boasts over 130 fine bottled beers stored in our temperature and UV light controlled back bar. All bottles are opened tableside and served in their appropriate glassware. As our menu changes frequently, our website may not be completely current. Follow us on Twitter for the most up-to-date tappings and bottles.

Kitchen

Our kitchen is open Tuesday to Thursday from 4 p.m.-Midnight, Friday from 4 p.m. -1 a.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 9 a.m.-1 a.m. We serve our brunch menu on weekends from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Join us for Happy Hour Tuesday to Friday 4pm-5:30pm and 9:30pm to Close and Saturday & Sunday 2 p.m.-5:30p.m. and 9:30p.m. to Close.

Our menu features European and American inspired dishes made with fresh Northwest ingredients. Our Head Chef Dana Lundin sources ingredients from local and regional farms and growers whenever possible. Because of this, our menu will vary as the season progresses. We prepare virtually all of our sauces, stocks, charcuterie, pastas, baked goods, pickled fruits & vegetables in our kitchen daily. The remaining ingredients are sourced from local artisans. Through this approach, we aim to honor the public house traditions of yesteryear.
